The boss dropped me off at the groomers. I know it is next to the swimmingpool but I do no like to go there, and Seleni makes sure that I am thoroughly washed and shampooed. I do like the hairdryer so that part is OK but I object most strongly on the boss telling them what to do with me. I then managed to escape and ran to the next lot where someone had left had a dead fish. I promptly rolled and rolled around with the fish, and managed to make myself incredibly smelly. The boss is sending me back to the hospital for another bath-maybe rolling around with the fish was not such a good idea.
The weather is the same as yesterday. It is very hot and will get hotter and the humidity is and will rise. There are scattered clouds in the sky but rain remains a distant dream.

There are a lot of dark clouds hovering around but I suspect being the premier weather reporter on the island that it will not rain today. The sun has just popped out to say hello, and I suspect that the humidity will rise and that the breeze will remain constant but not enough to be a cooling one.
The boss and I are going to the Palapa Bar for lunch and Dumbo and I will go for a swim amongst those big rubber inner tubes, and hopefully we will be given some tasty morsels for looking cute. Dumbo had a grooming session yesterday and keeps looking at himself in the mirror.

Traveling over the bridge yesterday and it is obvious to all concerned citizens that the bridge is in serious need of repair. The walkways are rusting away and it looks like all of the grids will have to be replaced within the next few months.
It will be a disaster for businesses up north if the bridge has to be closed for major repairs. The island ferry would now not be able to cope with the amount of tourists that stay in the resorts on the north side.

Well yesterday the boss and I were just going out with Joanna, a chef who has appeared on the TV show Hells Kitchen, to have lunch with Uncle Tim. Suddenly some wet stuff started falling out of the sky. Myself and Dumbo raced around the yard having a rare old time. Splat headed for the office as fast as possible, and then within a couple of minutes the rain stopped and the sun came out.
Today is beautiful as there is blue skies and a little breeze. I expect it to get hotter and I will make my way to sit by the outside ice machine, and wait for the boss to take Jambo and I to the beach. Life is great.

Walking by the Belize Yacht Club, and their new building complex which is situated on the southern end of their property. It is obvious to see that they have 5 levels on their property. The law must have been changed as it is the belief of the Ambergris Daily up till this building developers were only allowed to build up to 4 floors.
There was no-one at the San Pedro Building Committee available for comment.

Splat is beginning to get on both mine and Dumbo’s nerves. As all my readers know that we have two cats who are temporarily living in the clinic and are waiting to find a couple of humans to look after. Well they run around the yard and come and visit Dr. Laurie at our house, and that was when all hell broke loose as Splat screamed scratched and attacked everything in sight. Ziggy and Zara were then unceremoniously dumped back in the clinic by the boss, and Splat sat down on the couch with a big smile and went to sleep.
The weather is the same as yesterday.It is already hot and going to get hotter. The breeze is slight and hopefully will get stronger as the day progresses.

The San Pedro Animal Hospital is reminding everyone that their popular monthly low cost vaccine clinic is tomorrow between the hours of 10.00am till 12.00am. It is on a first come first served basis.

The Ambergris Daily has been informed by members of the HOA and has been informed that there are 27 members, all of who have received their titles. Jeff Pierce has not actually titled his apartment and is therefore not a member at the present moment in time.
There are 54 more titles that have been issued and the HOE are hoping to distribute them this week but at present they do not have physical possession of them. This will lead to 54 more owners being able to join the HOA.
According to some the bank loans are very low and it is highly possible that the HOA will arrange to pay these off, and it is hoped that this will lead to further titles being issued.
The continuation of the building plan is unclear at the moment but there should be a press release in the middle of this month which will hopefully make things clearer. However the timeshare side is not being addressed by anyone at the present moment in time.

Well last night I was curled up,on the floor, watching TV with the boss who still has a sore neck. We were having a nice chilled evening when in springs Splat with a field mouse and she thought it was just the greatest thing to fling the mouse with her teeth, into the air, and then bat it with her paw. This even woke up Jambo from his dreams, and Lady Boss started screaming of get rid of that rodent. Meanwhile Splat paid no attention and just carried on with what she was doing, and eventually the poor mouse died of a heart attack (a sad ending).
Today is the same as yesterday. The humidity is high and most intelligent people will stay by the pool or on the beach. The breeze will get stronger as the day progresses.

Following up to our article from a few days ago about Share ownership vs. Strata Title ownership in condos: We have received the following information about Coco Beach Resort and Belizean Shores. These developments were sold as share ownership offerings only because at the time construction commenced upon the land they occupy strata title was not an option as the land was not Registered. As many readers will know, both are very successful developments, well built and highly regarded here on Ambergris Caye.
We have been informed by a very reliable source that Stamp Transfer Tax was paid on every unit at Coco Beach and Belizean Shores. Furthermore the developers/owners are hoping to convert the ownership for individual condo owners from share ownership to Strata Title ownership as they know this will benefit most every condo owner there.
The new condos with a Venetian them that is planned by the same developers who built Belizean Shores and Coco Beach is going to be offered as Strata Title ownership.
