Commission of Inquiry into KHMH

The Office of the Prime Minister wishes to inform the Belizean public that the Commission of Inquiry into alleged improprieties at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital has not yet commenced because the Auditor General’s Report on the operations of the KHMH will not be completed until the end of October.

The Auditor General’s Report will constitute an important part of the material evidence to be examined and further investigated by the Commission of Inquiry, and must therefore be completed in order for the Inquiry to begin.

The Commission appointed by the Prime Minister is therefore expected to commence its inquiry in early November.
