Jamaica Observer | Caribbean Fashion Week’s 10th anniversary staging kicked off with the Medieval-themed Tara Lee Belize collection by Tara Lee Tillett.
The Belizean-born designer (she now resides in Florida) opened the show with an impressive collection of brocades that featured structured pieces in beige, gold, powder blue and olive green infused with ultra-feminine accents such as crinoline, ruffles, florals and frills. There were too, crystals, gems and beadings on designs which featured tee-shirts, denim, bold shoulders and great-looking sleeves.
