Belize Featured In The November Issue Of Condé Nast Traveller Magazine

Possessing such an astonishing array of landscapes and habitats, Belizean publicists have claimed it to be one of the planet’s greatest open-air natural-history museums.” exclaims writer Julian Evans about his visit to Belize. The article entitled “Small Wonder” is mentioned in the November issue of the renowned Condé Nast Traveller UK edition.

His visit took him to the Cayo District to experience the untouched beauty of the jungle where he canoed through Barton Creek Cave, where ritualistic Mayan activities such as human sacrifices took place. Then off to Indian Church for birding where a rare Blue-Crowned Motmot was spotted and finally to San Pedro for snorkeling at the famous Shark Ray Alley.

Condé Nast Traveller publication’s founding principle of “Truth in Travel” focuses on travel and lifestyle. Aimed at the upscale experienced traveler, the magazine highlights various exotic locales so that readers may consider them for destinations.  It has a circulation of over 9 million, with readers having an average income of USD$92,264. Assuring their credibility and independence from the travel industry the writers pay their own way hence they experience travel the way everyone else does, both the good and bad, and record their impressions honestly and fairly.

This additional exposure in the U.K. market is timely and will serve to further increase the awareness level of Belize. This week Belize is attending the annual World Travel Mart in London and will be meeting with more members of the international press and trade“, comments Director of Tourism, Tracy Panton.
