General Situation: Relatively moist and unstable airflow over the area for the next 24 hours. 24hr Forecast: Cloudy skies today with sunny breaks. A few showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop mostly along coastal and southern areas today, moving inland this evening. Winds: Northeast at 10 to 20 knots. Sea State: Choppy/Moderate.  Outlook: Through Sunday: Partly cloudy skies with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Highs: 31°C/87°F Lows: 24°C/75°F.

Tropical Weather Outlook: Tropical  Storm Shari formed during the night and at 6:00am local time Shari was centered near Lat 29.3N and Long 65.7W, moving toward the northwest near 18mph with Maximum winds of 40mph.  A  Strong Tropical Wave located  about 360mils  of the southern  Windward Islands has become much better organized this morning.   This Wave now has a high chance of 80% of becoming a tropical  cyclone over the next 48hrs as it moves   west-northwestward at 15 to 20mph. during the next couple of days). Elsewhere in the Atlantic basin tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the next 48hrs.

General Situation: A more northerly airflow will produce an increase in showers. 24hr Forecast: Mostly sunny  today becoming generally cloudy tonight. Showers will be isolated this morning and increase this evening. Winds: East to Northeast at 5 to 15 knots. Sea State: Choppy.  Outlook: Through Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms especially in the south. Highs: 31°C/88°F Lows: 23°C/74°F.

Tropical Weather Outlook: Two areas of showers and thunderstorms are over the Atlantic Ocean, one about 1200 miles northwest of the Cape Verde Islands and the other about 550 miles northeast of the Leeward Islands. The feature 550miles northeast of the Leeward Is has a high chance for development into a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.  -Elsewhere, tropical cyclone formation is not expected through Friday.
