We are all incredibly hungover but we think we hsve smashed our way through the 15,000 bzd barrier. More tomorrow.

We are to hung over to write the report. The sun is hidden
It appears that in various very popular tourist bars that the dealers have done deals with the various security guards as they were working with impunity, and it was obvious to all what they were doing.
It is going to be a hot one and everyone is working their socks off. The bosses and everyone have been up for hours to make sure that the fundraiser for the Liberty Orphanage goes off without a hitch.
All the gift certificates have been delivered. The raffles have been set up. The silent auction is being prepared. The beer is cold. Walter has 6 bar-b-ques going. The girls are cutting up huge amounts of veggies and everyone is in a surprisingly good mood.
Personally Jambo and I cannot wait for our barbies as we had breakfast hours ago. The band has just arrived-it really is going to be a great day.
There will be a tournament at Pedro’s tomorrow afternoon starting at 3.00pm.
The Ambergris Daily is asking for everyone to visit Pedro’s tomorrow and buy one of Walter’s famous bar-b-ques, a raffle ticket and participate in the silent auction. There is live music and it is expected that many of the local musicians will participate during the day.
The children and their carers/teachers etc. will arrive at Pedro’s Inn at 12.15am, and they are so excited at their biggest day out for years. The boat has been paid for by supporters of this charity. All the monies from the bar-bque will be going to pay the utlity bills which run at 3300bzd per month. Presents will be bought for the kids next week and the staff will all receive a 100bzd bonus as a show of appreciation from the San Pedro community.
All we need is for people to show up and spend a little bit of cash-see you there.
Jambo here and I have to report that there is a severe shortage of coconuts on the island. As you all know I am the world champion of retrieving coconuts that the boss throws into the sea. Well yesterday there were almost none on the beach, and the bosses both had to search high and low to find just a couple and they were nowhere near perfect.
The weather is absolutely great as it there is a cool breeze, and it is great to lie on the balcony and watch the world go by. The sun will pop his head out later on in the day.
Caye Winds has been seized back by Caye International Bank for non-payment of loans.
The developer is Neil Sullivan who is currently shagging his way around the Ukraine states that he has been misunderstood and it is everybodys fault but his.
It appears all the people who have brought properties from him have lost every penny that they invested, and we are talking of millions of dollars.
Neil will probbaly blame the Ambergris Daily for their misfortunes.
Another sad story from the lagoon.
Pity all the unlucky people who are arriving here for New Year, and who are planning to stay on Star Island. Well the Ambergris Daily advises all these peole to bring tents as there is no way in hell these cabanas et al will be finished by easter of next year.
Yet again a development on the lagoon has failed to deliver its promises.
It rfeally is the cas of Hickory Dickory Dock The Mayor ran up the Clock.
How can the town be happy with her performance in this debacle.
It would be wrong to say that a bribe has been taken or accepted but lets face it something untoward has happened and there is a strange smell eminating from the construction site.
