Twenty five thousand U.S. travelers voted Chaa Creek Resort, Blancaneaux Lodge and Turtle Inn among the top 10 resorts in Central and South America. According to a 2009 reader’s choice survey done by Condé Nast Traveler, readers ranked Chaa Creek in the Cayo District at number 7, Turtle Inn in Placencia at number 9 and Blancaneaux Lodge of the Cayo District at number 10. New Restaurant And Café Open In San Pedro

Exotic Caye Beach Resort, located on Ambergris Caye, is opening the two newest restaurants in San Pedro, this November. The Blue Iguana Grille will feature fresh seafood cuisine, caught off the shores of San Pedro daily. The resort’s other restaurant, the Caye Coffee Café, will serve coffee, breakfast and lunch.
