Honduran President Porfirio "Pepe" Lobo Sosa visits Belize
Love FM – Honduran President Porfirio “Pepe” Lobo Sosa was on an official visit to Belize today. During his visit, President Lobo discussed many important issues with Prime Minister Dean Barrow and his cabinet in strengthening the mutual relationship between Honduras and Belize. “Members of the press and particularly members of the Belizean press I introduce to you the President of Honduras our neighboring country. A country we have always traditionally regarded as a good friend, a country with which we have very close relations. It is a privilege to welcome the president and his lovely wife and to be able to have this opportunity for the president to say a few words to you and for us to quickly answer some questions that you may have.”
President Lobo was given a warm greeting and met with the media at the Old Belize grounds, where he spoke of his stopover to Belize.

“It is a great honor for me to be here in Belize, having been received by the Prime Minister and his wife for my first my wife and myself it is a great honor to be here. We had a meeting this morning, we discusses a number of issues the most important of which is the mutual interest for us to be strengthening the relations between our countries. Sincerely for us it is very pleasant to be here and we are grateful for the hospitality and the good will of your Prime Minister. Our intention is to further strengthen the relations between our countries. We are membersd of SICA and we are very happy to be here.”
The visit according to President Lobo will foster a better mutual liaison between Honduras and Belize. Issues discussed in the meeting were centered on the Central American Integration System (SICA) of which Belize took over presidency, strengthening the efforts towards climate change, and overall support from Honduras to Belize.

“The topic of SICA is a problem we have already gotten over with. We fully support the Government of Belize so we are just trying to get them to help to get together with the other countries with all the friends that they might have. They have our total good will to do everything that is possible for us to be aware of what is important of all of us being together when it come to this issue.”
President Lobo was accompanied by his wife, the first lady of Honduras, members of his cabinet including Foreign Minister, and Minster of external cooperation. Lobo was elected president in the 2009 presidential election and took office on 27 January 2010 and will serve until 2014.
I find it overtly disrespectful to have purposely misspelled and changed a foreign head of states’ name as you’ve done in the heading of this article.
