Harriet first visited the Blue Morpho Butterfly Farm and Natural History Center and then went on to tour the ancient Maya City of Xunantunich where she journeyed across the scenic Mopan River via a hand-cranked ferry and climbed the spectacular “El Castillo” which provided a breathtaking view of the towns of San Ignacio, Benque and the Guatemalan countryside. Then, it was off to La Isla Bonita, San Pedro where she enjoyed fine cuisines, a snorkel to Hol Chan & Shark Ray Alley, swim with the nurse sharks and rays and encounter the large green moray eels and parrotfish, kayaking and a glimpse of island life before leaving the country.
