Whale Sharks to be Hunted on the Barrier Reef in Placencia

It appears that due to the Whale Sharks eating more than their fair share of snapper spawn that there is becoming a shortage of fish. The Placencia council has therefore put a bounty on every Whale Shark that is brought into their region. Huge bar-b-ques will be set up on the beach and for as little as 5bzd visitors will be able to sample the delicacy of whale shark meat. If as expected the local restaurants will want to sell this meat it is thought that each place will be limited to purchasing 200lbs per day.

The council have also commissioned a book on a 100 different ways to cook whale shark meat. It is unclear if the San Pedro Town council will follow the same direction as their counterparts in Placencia.
